It&#8217;s easy to think we have &#8220;500 friends&#8221; and forget what true friendship entails; time, commitment and self-sacrifice. This commercial wrapped it all up for me in 30 seconds. </p>
<p>What&#8217;s cool is how this spot identifies with the active/interactive audience without offending the social media fanatics. It pokes fun in a non-offensive way. Pretty cool.  Enjoy!</p>

<p>The project, <a href="http://www.thewarrensacramento.com">TheWarrenSacramento.com</a>, is a trendy new $40 Million condo building in predevelopment located in midtown Sacramento.  Fireworx Digital provided the project’s brand development, project site signage, marketing flyers, postcard mailers, and email designs, as well as the design and development of the website itself, which includes 3D virtual tours and interactive floor plans, developed in conjunction with Focus 360, a leading provider of <a href="http://www.focus360.com">3D architectural animation services</a>, also located in Laguna Niguel.  </p>
<p>First Release Homes’ goal is to provide &#8216;next generation sales technology&#8217; and virtual reservation services (VRS™) to pre-sell new homes and condos online at a fraction of the cost of traditional sales and marketing methods, through a combination of Focus 360’s robust digital animation, real time unit availability, and First Release Homes’ online auction technologies, being developed by Fireworx Digital.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.fireworxdigital.com/blog/2010/10/new-interactive-website-launched-branding-collateral-developed-for-first-release-homes/thewarren_floorplate/" rel="attachment wp-att-125"><img src="http://www.fireworxdigital.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/thewarren_floorplate-300x235.png" alt="thewarren_floorplate" title="thewarren_floorplate" width="300" height="235" class="alignright size-medium wp-image-125" /></a>The new site allows a visitor to get information about the project, fill out an advance interest form, watch a 3D virtual tour of the building, and view each unit’s floor plan through an online interactive interface.  The visitor can experience the views from each unit’s approximate location in the building, and view a 3D virtual unit tour, all within the same interface.  They can then interact with a salesperson through a chat button and even reserve their preferred unit by pressing the reserve button, filling out the form, selecting a face to face appointment date, and downloading their reservation certificate to bring to the appointment, all without leaving the screen.  The location section includes a Google map, transportation information, and a compelling video portraying life in Sacramento.</p>
<p>Fireworx Digital’s close working relationship with Focus 360 is what makes this type of project possible, integrating best practices across a wide range of disciplines, from design, to technology, to digital marketing.</p>

CNN featured Guy Harvey&#8217;s cause marketing success recently and I thought Colleen McEdwards did an excellent job communicating how cause marketing must be authentic to be effective.  It&#8217;s not enough to slap a cause on your website&#8217;s homepage.  It&#8217;s exciting to work with a client like Guy Harvey and AFTCO Bluewater, Guy Harvey&#8217;s clothing licensee and manufacturer.  For them, cause is a part of their DNA.  It&#8217;s who they are, not something tacked on to increase sales.  Guy Harvey and Bill Shedd, President of AFTCO Bluewater have a love for the ocean and it&#8217;s inhabitants that goes beyond cause.  Ocean conservation is truly their passion&#8230;and it shows.</p>
